After a total sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016 and a hit series on BBC Radio 4, Croft and Pearce are coming to Newbury for one night.
The award-winning comedians are bringing their hilarious new sketch show Croft & Pearce Are Not Themselves to the New Greenham Arts in Newbury on Saturday, May 13.
Since 2011, when they first started writing and performing together, Hannah Croft and Fiona Pearce have performed sell out shows in London, New York and around the UK, and are fast gaining recognition for their unique brand of sketch comedy.
Their latest comedic offering cleverly interlinks a wide range of immaculately written and beautifully performed characters, impressively presented without the use of costume or set changes, instead relying solely on the pair’s talent as performers.
The duo have perfect timing and wonderful chemistry when performing their original sketches. The pair are extremely popular in the media, gaining more and more critical acclaim with each performance.
In 2014, they won an Edinburgh Spirit of the Fringe Award and their episode of BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama was nominated for Best Scripted Comedy at the BBC Audio Drama Awards, leading to the commission of their first solo sketch show for BBC Radio 4, The Croft & Pearce Show.
Following their success at Edinburgh Fringe, they launched a podcast with their hit characters June and Jean, and are now back on the road with a whole host of entertaining new character combinations.
Catch these rising stars as they come to New Greenham Arts, Newbury on Saturday, May 13 at 8pm. Adult tickets cost £13 and concessions are £10.50. The show comes with an age guide of 16+.
