A Bradfield man has been jailed for 20 months following a series of burglaries in Wokingham and Bracknell.
Shaun Thompson, 30, of St Andrews Close, had pleaded guilty to 15 burglaries across the two towns between March and April 2014.
He and an accomplice, 28-year-old Frenny Green of Anson Walk, Whitley, gained access to properties by poking implements through letterboxes and stealing cash and bank cards from hallways and downstairs rooms.
Most of these took place when the homeowners were asleep, with the victims not realising what had happened until the morning.
Both men were sentenced at Reading Crown Court on August 11. Green had been convicted by a unanimous jury two days before and was jailed for 30 months.
Detective Constable Barry Johns said: “Being a victim of burglary is a distressing experience, it is an invasion of privacy within your own home where you should feel safe.
“We are committed to investigating burglaries and other offences in order to stop those responsible.”
