A 26-year-old man has been jailed after driving his car at another man in Aldermaston.
Jesse Gregory, of Moat Close in Tadley, was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Reading Crown Court last Thursday after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm.
It comes after police were called to a disturbance at Paices Hill at around 6.50am on February 21 last year.
Gregory had driven a Toyota Rav 4 at a 52-year-old man, with the victim suffering a broken leg as a result.
Following the jail term, Gregory will also have an extra four years on licence.
Investigating officer DC Gareth Perry said: “This was a very serious incident where Gregory used a vehicle as a weapon against the victim.
“The victim subsequently required corrective surgery to his leg following the injury.
“I am pleased for the victim that justice has been done.”
