A man is recovering after he was kicked multiple times in the head and body during an assault outside the Swan Inn in East Ilsley.
It happened at around 11pm on July 14 when the victim, who is in his 20s, was approached by two men.
He was assaulted and fell to the ground, where the two men continued to kick him in the head and upper body.
The victim suffered cuts and bruises to his face and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading for treatment, and has since been discharged.
Investigating officer PC Mark Simpson said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or anyone acting suspiciously in the surrounding area.
“I understand that an incident such as this will cause concern to the local community, however officers are working to locate and apprehend the offenders.
“We would ask anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact police.”
