The proclaimed leading Santana tribute band, Oye Santana, will recreate the authentic sound of Carlos Santana and co at the Arlington Arts Centre.
The seven-piece band, playing truly authentic original Santana arrangements, will be putting on a night of Latin music that will take the audience right back to the spectacular sight and sound of a true Santana concert.
A group of musicians, all passionate about the music of Carlos Santana, are set to deliver a full band sound that does justice to the real thing with the guitars, keyboards, drums and various percussion instruments you would expect at a real Santana gig.
Expect to hear all the classics from Jingo and Black Magic Woman, to Oye Como Va and Smooth. The gig promises to be an all-singing, all-dancing night of music from the group, who are all about having a good time.
Forming in 2012, the band have established themselves as one of the best tribute bands in the UK, impressing promoters and audiences alike.
The front man, Milan Webb, has been plying his trade almost as long as Santana himself. He has immersed himself not only in the mysteries of Latin rock, but also jazz, fusion, straight ahead blues, and acoustic playing.
He’s played every type of gig from dances to concerts, at venues from tiny back rooms via circuit favourites such as The Blues Loft and Friars, to Wembley.
With a high energy and true talent everything points to a brilliant night of the music of Carlos Santana that promises to be a real all-singing, all-dancing fiesta.
Full price tickets for the gig on Friday, May 19 at 8pm are £16 and available either online at arlingtonarts.co.uk, or by calling the box office on 01635 244246.
All profits from Arlington Arts go directly to Mary Hare, a school and national charity supporting deaf children.
