A woman was robbed of her phone in a vicious attack in Newbury on Saturday.
The victim, 19, was on her phone around the junction of Enborne Road and Kingsbridge Road when three men came running towards her.
They grabbed her by the arms and one put his hand over her mouth, while another took her phone from her hand.
The men then fled towards Fifth Road and the woman chased after them into Buckingham Road, but lost sight of them.
She suffered a cut lip but did not need hospital treatment. Her phone was later recovered.
The first man was white, in his mid 20s, and may have had tattoos on his neck and right forearm.
The second had black hair and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a blue jumper, and the third had dark brown hair, aged 26 or 27, and was in a black Adidas tracksuit.
Specialist investigator Tracy Cole said: “Saturday was a warm and sunny day and there were lots of people in the area at the time.
“I am hoping that there will be several witnesses who saw the incident, or who saw a young woman chasing after three men.”
