Team Kennet athletes had an impressive day at the Berkshire Track and Field Championships on Sunday, picking up seven gold medals.
The best showing of the day came from Stuart Bladon, who broke a 13-year-old club record in winning the 400m hurdles in 59.63s, before going on to win gold in the high jump as well.
Zach Montgomery also struck gold with a personal best 11.79m throw in the shot, while Harry Booker came close to the club discus record with 35.40m to win in the under-15 age group.
Phoebe Hoaen took double gold in the discus and javelin, while Luke Angell took another title in the senior men’s javelin.
Elsewhere, Simon Whatson came a strong second in the Park House School 10k run on Sunday.
Emily Faulkner was the first female home, finishing in a time of just over 43 minutes.
And Nathan Gillis was in action in America at the Annual Southland Conference Championships in New Orleans, coming 10th in the 800m.
