Thatcham Town had to settle for a 1-1 draw in their final home game of the season against Lydney Town on Saturday.
It was a changed Kingfishers side as nine first team players were missing, but manager Danny Robinson seemed happy with the result.
Alex Smith got Thatcham’s goal – his first for the club – on 18 minutes to give the home side the lead.
Within 10 minutes Lydney had pulled level and the scores remained even for the rest of the match.
Thatcham are now guaranteed to finish fourth in the Hellenic Premier League this season, and are sat on 67 points from their 33 games.
Just one league match remains, although they face a long wait before making the trip north to face Brackley Town Saints on April 15.
